Crispin’s Hell’s Kitchen LLC, doing business as Crispin’s Diner (“Crispin’s,” “we,” “us,” or “our“), respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect on crispinsdiner.com (the “Site“), how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

By using the Site, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide to us. When you fill out a form on the Site, such as our reservation form or our contact form, you may provide us with information including your name, phone number, email address, number of guests, reservation date and time, and any notes or messages you choose to include. If you opt in to SMS messaging when submitting a reservation, your phone number will also be used to send you text messages about that reservation, including confirmations, reminders before your reservation time, and follow-up messages after your visit.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, certain information is collected automatically, including:

  • Your IP address and approximate location
  • Your browser type, device type, and operating system
  • The pages you visit, the time spent on each page, and the links you click
  • The website you came from and the website you go to next
  • Date and time of your visit

This information is collected through standard web-server logs and through Google Analytics, which uses cookies and similar technologies as described in Section 5.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to reservation requests, contact inquiries, and other messages you send us
  • Confirm, modify, or cancel reservations
  • Communicate with you about your reservation, including reminders and updates

  • Understand how visitors use the Site so we can make it more useful
  • Protect the security and integrity of the Site
  • Comply with applicable laws and respond to lawful requests

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising or marketing beyond responding to your direct communications with us.

3. How We Share Your Information

We share personal information only as described below:

Service providers. We share information with third-party vendors who help us operate the Site and the restaurant, including our website host, our email provider, and Google Analytics. These providers are only permitted to use your information to perform services for us.

Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, court order, or other legal process, or if we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.

Business transfers. If Crispin’s is involved in a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes. SMS opt-in data and phone numbers collected for SMS messaging are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.

The Site uses cookies — small text files stored on your device — to support core site functionality and to help us understand how the Site is used.

Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics to collect anonymized, aggregated data about Site traffic and usage patterns. Google Analytics uses cookies to distinguish between users and sessions. We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, or as required by law. Reservation and contact form submissions are generally retained for our internal records for a reasonable period and then deleted or anonymized.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information we collect. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Choices and Rights

You can:

  • Contact us at any time using the information in Section 11 to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information you have submitted to us.
  • Decline cookies through your browser settings, or use Google’s opt-out tool linked in Section 4.
  • Opt out of communications we send you by replying to any email we send or by contacting us directly.
  • Opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP” to any text message you receive from us. Reply “HELP” for help, or contact us at reservations@crispinsdiner.com with questions about our SMS messaging program. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies; you can expect up to 3 messages per reservation.

Depending on where you live, additional privacy rights may apply to you under state laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) or similar laws in other states. These rights may include the right to know what personal information we have collected, the right to request deletion, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising your rights. To exercise these rights, please contact us using the information in Section 11.

8. Third-Party Links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites, including map services, social media platforms, and reservation or ordering platforms we may add in the future. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party site you visit.

9. Children’s Privacy

The Site is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised version on this page and update the “Effective Date” above. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect means you accept the updated Privacy Policy.
