Our Story
A diner built for the neighborhood, open from breakfast through late night.
Crispin's is a diner in the truest sense of the word. We open early, we close late, and the menu has something for whatever you came in hungry for. Eggs at 8am. A burger at noon. A bowl of pasta at dinner. A plate of chilaquiles on a Sunday afternoon. Whether you live around the corner or you're passing through, we want this to feel like the spot you keep coming back to.

Philosophy
Made From Scratch. Done Right.
Good ingredients, cooked properly. Nothing more complicated than that.
Most of what we make, we make in-house. Pastas, sauces, dressings, breads where we can. The burgers are ground daily. The eggs are cracked to order. The coffee is roasted for us. When we buy something in, we buy it from people we know.
There's no big concept at Crispin's. What we do have is a kitchen that cares about the small things. The temperature of the plate. The crust on the bread. The salt on the fries. The way a sandwich is built so the last bite is as good as the first. Over twenty years of cooking professionally in New York has taught Chef Crispin one lesson above all others. Good food is just consistent food.

Chef Crispin Mejía has spent more than two decades cooking in New York kitchens, working the line in some of the busiest restaurants in the city. He cooks for the neighborhood now.
The food at Crispin's reflects everything those years have taught him. Eggs done right. Burgers ground daily. Pasta cooked properly. Coffee that's actually good. The basics, taken seriously, every shift.
